Rebecca Perry - Yoga Instructor

About Rebecca

Rebecca Perry has been studying yoga since 1997. She became a certified yoga teacher in 1999 through a registered 200 hour certificate with The Yoga Alliance at the Mount Madonna Center in Watsonville, CA. In 1998 Rebecca began studying under master yogi Baba Hari Dass in the classical traditions of Ashtanga Yoga. Her experience lies in the heart of all eight-limb aspects, taught from the Patanjali's sutras. She has personally practiced extensively in the areas of Asanas, Pranayama, Ayervedic traditions, Shat Karmas (internal and external cleansing systems), Mudras, Dharana and Meditation (concentration and meditation), Yamas and Niyamas (personal disciplines, observances, and restraints). Rebecca travels frequently to India in order to continue her yoga studies, and she dedicates her practice to her teacher, Baba Hari Dass.

Rebecca has a soft, yet practical, approach to her classes, which are open to all ages and levels of experience. Whether you're just beginning your yoga practice or are an advanced student, you will find something challenging and rewarding with each class. Each class is a blend of asana that's rooted from a solid foundation of hatha yoga systems, and is elegantly designed to flow through vinyasa - which means, connecting the breath with the posture (asana). The postures are sequenced to balance and open the body according to their own organic process.

Yoga helps bring awareness into our daily lives and we can start doing this on a physical level by bringing our awareness inside to our inner-bodies. Rebecca brings a safe and playful attitude to her classes and yet keeps a meditative focus throughout. You'll walk away feeling rejuvenated and peaceful that you will naturally bring into other areas of your life to share with the rest of the world. Rebecca is dedicated to creating a warm, open atmosphere for her students that will enrich each individuals spiritual development.

Haley Koss - Yoga Instructor

About Haley

Haley has been involved in movement in a variety of different forms. Some of the most notable as a successful athlete in the college Division I level, a coach of swimming and the self pursuit of yoga. Although yoga is now her true passion, she stumbled upon it through her training as a swimmer. She was looking for an outlet to help cross train and to maintain flexibility while competing. At the age of 14 she began the journey of yoga in her living room, practicing off of DVD’s that she would buy at the bookstore. Yoga drew her in more and more as her practice grew. After college she quickly found that yoga was her calling and began studying it seriously. She has practiced many different styles of yoga and is Certified as an Anusara Instructor. Haley believes that every posture should be expressed from within on an individual basis. You won’t be confined to rigid rules and structures in her classes, but she will provide you with helpful cues to keep your body safe. Her hope is that you will come to class with an open mind and heart, she will do the same.
