Pilates equipment helps facilitate wide ranges of movements otherwise difficult to perform. This is a sophisticated system of pulleys and springs creating a sense of weightlessness while isolating specific muscles surrounding the core. In a world of computers and long hours of sitting, we become linear in movement. The equipment used in pilates emphasizes three-dimensional movements that create fluidity and tone throughout the whole body.
At Studio Blue, all private training appointments are instructed in an intimate, private setting for your pleasure.

Group Equipment Classes
Springboard Classes - All Levels - Level 3
A true full body workout, the class goes through a warm-up, core strengthening, upper body and lower body conditioning sequence with emphasis on vertical alignment. Every week you will experience new challenging exercises, deepening your understanding of the pilates method. Exercises are taken from the classic pilates repertoire, and other pilates inspired movements.
NEW! Reformer Classes - All Levels
For a true test to your core, nothing works better than the Pilates Reformer. These semi-private classes with an emphasis on rhythmic, flowing movements will increase strength, flexibility and stamina while also improving alignment, balance, coordination and tone. The result? A uniformly developed body with strong back and abdominal muscles. The Reformer’s adjustable springs allow for progressive resistance, which helps to lengthen and strengthen the muscles rather than building bulk.
Although some of these exercises may seem simple - the effects go deep, and you'll engage muscles you never knew you had and get great results FAST.
