PILATES + TRX

Dan Walton

Dan has been in the fitness industry since 2006 and opened Studio Blue Pilates in 2007 in NW Portland. His vision was to create a space that welcomed everyone regardless of age, gender, or movement background.

He is a certified Pilates and TRX instructor. He has taken workshops and continuing education to help people reduce and eliminate pain. He loves educating clients about their bodies in a positive way that encourages healthy and fun movement!

When Dan isn’t teaching, you’ll likely find him in the woods hiking, snowshoeing or laying on a beach.

PILATES + TRX + NKT

Audra Oakley

Audra believes that movement should be for everyone and is passionate about working with people who are often overlooked in mainstream wellness spaces; including older adults and people living with chronic conditions.

She creates a welcoming space for all people, all bodies, and all abilities with an emphasis on approaching movement from a place of curiosity rather than judgment. She believes that there’s not just one “correct” way to move which is why she takes a brain-based approach; working with her client’s unique brain, body and movement strategies rather than against them.

Audra is an encouraging instructor who seeks to empower her clients. She meets clients where they are and supports a collaborative relationship with them. With a wealth of knowledge in Pilates, applied neurology and personal training she specializes in tailoring individualized sessions for each person. Muscular imbalances are addressed, helping clients move with greater ease and confidence. She holds current certifications through BASI Pilates, NASM personal training and Neurokinetic Therapy level 3 and is a level 2 Neuro Studio practitioner.
